Quince Paste

METHOD OF PREPARATION

Ingredients
  • 2 kg quinces
  • 1 kg apples, preferably Firiki
  • Water
  • 1 kg sugar

Instructions

Wash the fruits thoroughly, cut them into quarters, and remove the seeds. Place the fruits in a large pot and add enough water to cover them. Boil until they soften. Then, strain the liquid and add sugar to 1.5 liters of the broth.

Boil again until it thickens.
