1 cup grape molasses (petimezi)
6 cups water
1 cup cornstarch (nisteset)
3 tbsp sugar
Cinnamon
Coarsely ground walnuts
In a pot, combine 4 cups of water, the grape molasses (petimezi), and the sugar. Heat the mixture over low heat.
In the remaining 2 cups of water, dissolve the cornstarch (nisteset).
Once the mixture in the pot starts to boil, add the cornstarch mixture and stir with a whisk until it thickens.
Serve in individual bowls or on a platter, and garnish with cinnamon and coarsely ground walnuts.
